Delphic Research is pleased to welcome Marwan El Fayoumi as Associate Product Development Manager for the Delphic Academy, our applied learning platform designed to help professionals develop a deeper understanding of government systems, policymaking environments, and public sector decision-making.
In his role as Product Development Associate for the Delphic Academy, Marwan will support the early development of a new, integrated learning and knowledge platform designed to advance Delphic’s mission of elevating government affairs through knowledge. The Delphic Academy will serve as the umbrella for our educational programming, encompassing a wide range of offerings including an engaging content and learning management platform, briefing notes, backgrounders, video explainers, webinars, and live events. Marwan’s work will help shape the strategic framework and foundational content architecture of the Academy as we build a dynamic resource to support the continuous learning and professional development of government affairs professionals.
Marwan holds a Specialist degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Delphic Research, he worked in Egypt with the Ministry of International Cooperation as a policy analyst, where he evaluated major infrastructure projects through both a policy and fiscal lens, gaining firsthand experience in the intersection of economic development, national priorities, and regional geopolitics.
He also interned at the NATO Association of Canada, where he authored articles on subjects such as nuclear proliferation in the Middle East to the civil war in Myanmar, and the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and its effects on the region. As a podcast host for the association, he interviewed high-profile guests including the Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy on Canada’s naval challenges and several NATO ambassadors on pressing issues affecting Europe and the Middle East.
Marwan is the creator of a Udemy course titled Analytical Thinking Applied to Geopolitics, which introduces general audiences to structured analytical techniques and frameworks that can be used to make sense of global shifts, policy debates, and the modern information landscape.
In his free time, Marwan enjoys reading, boxing, traveling, and meeting new people. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team as we continue building new learning and advisory tools for the government affairs professionals of tomorrow.
