Ontario opens nominations for 2026 Excellence in Agriculture Awards

Nominations are now open for Ontario’s 2026 Excellence in Agriculture Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements by farmers, processors, businesses and organizations across 10 categories that highlight innovation, education, Indigenous leadership, youth and other contributions to the province’s agri-food sector. The nomination period runs until Sept. 4, with the awards supporting Ontario’s Grow Ontario Strategy and celebrating the sector’s role in driving the province’s nearly $53 billion agri-food industry.
